About me
Hi there! I'm Natalie I'm 29 and live with my husband, Adam in the Kiveton Park area of Sheffield with access to Chesterfield and the Peak District. I have always been passionate about photography and I have spent years learning my craft and honing my skills through various courses and photo shoots before taking the plunge and launching my small business offering professional photographs
When I'm not capturing special moments, you will usually find me out walking in the great outdoors (usually accompanied by my camera and occasionally my husband!) at home reading a good book, or in the pub enjoying a pint with friends and family. When I am not working with people, I love photographing animals, as you can see to the left - a shot I took on safari in Tanzania last year!
My approach
When I undertake photo shoots, I like to take a natural approach to my photography, whether that be through shooting in urban backdrops such as Sheffield and Chesterfield or the great ourdoors such as in local woodland or the Peak District.
I like to take less "posed" shots and appreciate a more natural, fun photoshoot. As a family photographer this works perfectly with children that don't want to spend too much time posing for professional photographs.
I am very discreet when I am working as I do not want people to feel uncomfortable! I take a fly on the wall approach and by doing so I feel enables people characters to be more on display as people are at ease as you barely notice me taking photos - which in turn provides me with some excellent shots to capture! .
